Carrie Haines is a certified personal trainer, group fitness instructor, and fitness educator with over 25 years experience.
Carrie attended the University of Southern California (USC) and earned a degree in Theatre Arts and Communications.
Carrie is certified by the National Academy of Sports Medicine, The American Council on Exercise, and The Aerobics and Fitness Association of America. Carrie is an IDEA Fitness Expert and Author, master trainer, and serves on the GroupEx PRO Advisory Board.
In July, 2014, Carrie became the Fitness Manager and Director of Fitness Programming for High Altitude Fitness in Incline Village, NV and Truckee, CA (Opening fall 2015). Prior to that, Carrie managed the group fitness program for Saint Mary's Fitness in Reno for four years. Carrie spent more than 10 years in the Bay Area and Sonoma/Solano Counties with 24 Hour Fitness as an instructor, trainer, and group fitness manager. She relocated to Truckee, California in 2005 and helped to start the group fitness program at Tahoe Forest Hospital and Tahoe Mountain Club.
Carrie also teaches classes at InnerRhythms Dance Theatre in Truckee. Carrie has spent the past four years as the Group Fitness Manager at Saint Mary's Fitness in Reno. Carrie will be joining the team at Sugar Bowl this winter as an instructor, educator, and trainer for the new Sporthaus.
In addition, Carrie is a volunteer trainer and educator at the CR Johnson Healing Center in Truckee, CA and works with the team at High Fives Foundation.
